A Note From The Developer

This app, Ultra Compass, is more than a just a project for me—it's the culmination of a lifelong passion for technology. From a young age, I was the kid who took apart gadgets and watches just to see how they were built, and that fascination evolved into a curiosity for the marriage between software and hardware. I spent years enjoying tech; everything from rooting Android phones and jailbreaking iPhones to designing custom watch faces, setting up servers, and now developing this app.  I have always been driven by the joy of creation and the desire to build something genuinely useful, mechanical or otherwise.

The idea for Ultra Compass came from a simple desire: a powerful, reliable navigation tool that went beyond the basics for Wear OS. I wanted to combine the classic features of a compass with a modern look and modern features to create something unique. I've poured my heart and soul into every line of code, meticulously designing each feature—from the waypoint management and route tracking, to the pressure graphs and sun charts. It’s been a long journey of countless late nights and exciting breakthroughs.
