Compass

This is the central feature of the application, displaying the main compass interface. It visualizes the current heading, and can also display information about a selected waypoint, including distance and bearing. It includes buttons to navigate to other screens like Waypoints and Settings, and also provides a way to lock the current bearing.

Radar

This feature is designed to show the position of nearby waypoints relative to the user's current location on a radar-like display. It provides a visual, at-a-glance view of the surrounding area, helping the user to quickly orient themselves and locate saved points of interest. The radar chart updates in real-time as the user moves, providing dynamic feedback.

Waypoints

This feature allows users to create a new waypoint with a name and color. Users can also view a list of their waypoints, select one to navigate to, or long-press an item to access options like renaming or deleting it.

Route Tracking

This feature allows the user to record their path. It saves a series of coordinates to the device's database, providing the ability to track a journey. This also supports the "Return To Start" functionality, guiding the user back along their recorded path.

Pressure Trend

This feature provides a graphical representation of atmospheric pressure changes over time. It allows the user to select different time ranges (e.g., 6 hours, 2 days) to observe pressure trends, which can be useful for predicting weather changes.

Sun Position

This feature provides a visualization of the sun's position and path in the sky for the current day. It shows the current location of the sun, as well as the times for sunrise and sunset, and the sun's elevation and azimuth. Unlike many apps that stop working when you lose cell signal, Ultra Compass is designed to be fully standalone. All of its core functionality - from the compass and bearing lock to route tracking and waypoint management - works completely offline.

Note: This app relies heavily on GPS services to give location data and process some complex features in the app. Please keep in mind that GPS is most suitable for use outdoors with little interference (e.g., open fields, hiking trails, etc). Usage may vary indoors, around urban areas with tall buildings, and areas with heavy tree coverage.
